Color Analysis
What is Color Analysis?
The roots of color analysis trace back to the 19th century, when scholars and scientists began exploring the psychological and physiological effects of color. In 1980 “Color Me Beautiful” was created by Carole Jackson as the world’s first seasonal color analysis system. Which later would be widely popularized into the world of fashion and beauty that we now know as, Color Analysis.
Color Analysis is the process of determining what color season harmonizes most with your natural complexion and features. Color Analysis is a powerful tool for discovering the shades and tones that compliment your overall appearance leaving you looking radiant and feeling confident.
What is a Color Season?
Color Analysis is broken down into 4 main seasons. Spring, Summer, Autmn and Winter. Which are further broken down into 12 Sub-seasons. Each season and sub-season are categorized by being either Warm or Cool. Spring and Autmn being the warm seasons and Winter and Summer being the Cool. Various things are taken into account when determining someone’s season. Such as Chroma, Contrast, Value and Undertone.
Why do I need a Color Analysis?
Have you ever put on an item on and immediately felt like something was off? Or have you ever purchased an item and once you got it home, you liked the color better on the hanger than on yourself? If yes, you’re not alone. Hundreds if not thousands of dollars are spent every year on items that never leave the closet. One of the main culprits being as simple as the color. With a Color Analysis, you take the guessing out of “does this color look okay on me?’ and turn it into I KNOW this color looks great on me. Saving you hundreds and giving you the confidence and tools to dress with ease.
